Review: Liz Barton's "Cat Secrets Revealed"
If there was one definitive book on training cats, Cat Secrets Revealed is it. Authored by a Texas cat trainer, Liz Barton, this book starts with exploding the myth surrounding the way cats are to be treated when they are trouble mongers in the household. The methods of handling troublesome cats are, according to the author, well intentioned but ill advised. You would yourself come to know what the author meant when she says this, after reading the first few pages of the e-book. The USP of the e-book is that it has not been written by an animal psychologist who merely sits in a cabin shouting instructions but by a trainer who has plenty of years of hands on experience in handling cats.

The book promises to help you "Say Good Bye To Litter Box Problems, Scratching Problems, And Aggressive Behavior.. and Enjoy Your Cat Again!" and after implementing the different strategies mentioned in there, you end up feeling really grateful to your self for having bought and used the book. The author helps you to get into the animal psyche and hence understand the cats' behavior problems. It helps you de-stress your cat and gives you great recommendations on recognizing the symptoms of a stressed out cat, stress free way to move your kitten into the new house etc. and also addresses common cat problems like clawing on the furniture, excessive crying, aggression etc. You will have a great insight into the cats psyche and hence will be better able to understand why your cats do all they are really not supposed to.
The author is humble enough to accept that this book is no sure fix for all cat problems. This is a great thing as most of the authors brag on and on about how they are the best solution providers for the cat problems, often without results. The author states "I'm not suggesting your cat will be the perfect feline from this day forward, as if all you have to do is wave a magic wand and "poof" all your frustrations will be gone just like that. You do need to be committed to this change, after all." Indeed, the book is much more useful than all other books in this segment and is highly recommended as a one stop shop for all your cat remedies.
